Impact of a Morning Routine I love mornings. Each new day brings new opportunities and it’s a chance to start fresh and do better. How you start your day, or more specifically how you spend those first few morning hours has a big impact on the rest of it. Think of it as setting the tone for your entire day. That’s why making over your morning is so important. It’s about much more than those first few hours. I’m sure you’ve experienced this yourself. Let’s use the snooze button as an example. You set an early alarm to make sure you have time for exercise, quiet time, or simply some much needed “me time”. You have every intention of getting up and doing whatever you’re setting out to do when you set the alarm in the first place. In January, I almost had a mental breakdown. One of my biggest goals for motherhood was not met and I was crushed. I realize now, that at the root of the missed expectation was pride. It still hurts at times, but God has been gracious in comforting me and giving me the Grace I need to get through it. This might seem strange, but this failed goal made me start thinking of what I want to do with this blog. I have a renewed vigor and determination to build this up to become what I imagine it to be. I can’t wait to share my blog goals for Tapestry Chronicles with you!
Blog Goals for Tapestry Chronicles:
One of my biggest blog goals for Tapestry Chronicles was to refine my topics and come up with a more consistent blog schedule and a content calendar so I can stay on track. I also developed a business plan. I’ve never done one before so it was challenging, but it has helped give me a long term vision for this blog and what I want it to become.
My goal for this time next year is to compile either an e-book or a bundle of some sort. I’m not quite sure what that will be yet but I know it will become clear as time goes on.
The Tapestry Chronicles newsletter also has a major facelift. Scroll down to the bottom of this post to make sure you sign up if you haven’t already and never miss a post!
